Digi Power X president, CEO both buy shares in open-market purchases

Digi Power X Inc (NASDAQ:DGXX, FRA:1NQ0, NEO:DGX) insiders bought shares in back-to-back open-market purchases this week, according to regulatory filings.
President and director Amar Alec purchased 10,000 subordinate voting shares on August 20 at a weighted average price of $3.86 per share, with individual trades ranging from $3.84 to $3.88. The purchase brings Alec's directly held subordinate voting shares to just under 1.4 million. He also holds 45,000 subordinate voting shares indirectly through Matbrands LLC.
Separately, CEO Michel Amar purchased 20,000 shares on August 19 at an average price of $3.60 per share, for a total transaction value of $72,000.
Following the purchase, Amar directly owned around 1.7 million shares, valued at approximately $6.1 million. The purchase represented a 1.19% increase in his ownership stake.
Both transactions were disclosed in filings with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Insider purchases like these are often viewed by investors as a signal of management confidence in a company's near-term prospects.
