Multiplier Holdings acquires New Zealand advisory practice Greenhawk

Singapore-based Multiplier Holdings has acquired Greenhawk Chartered Accountants, an accounting and taxation advisory practice based in New Zealand.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Greenhawk, which was founded in 2015, provides services to commercial enterprises, not-for-profit organisations and investors.

In a LinkedIn post, Greenhawk said: "11 years on, we have become the trusted outsource finance team for a multitude of businesses and non-profits, added a specialist tax division serving investors and individuals with complex financial lives, and grown to a team of 22 working alongside more than a thousand clients.

"It has been a fantastic journey so far! This is the next chapter."

As agreed, Greenhawk's current leadership will retain their roles.

Company partners Paul Struckman, Darrin Brown and Alex Cull will continue to lead the practice, while all its people will "remain firmly in place", the company added in the post.

Meanwhile, the practice will have access to Multiplier's technical systems, operational assets and industry knowledge to scale up its outsourced chief financial officer, accounting and tax compliance services.

The transaction is Multiplier's second recent deal in New Zealand following its acquisition of Oxygen Advisors earlier this year.

Simpson Grierson, a commercial legal practice, served as legal counsel to Multiplier Holdings during the transaction.
