PKF O’Connor Davies appoints new partner in commercial tax practice

US-based accounting, tax and advisory practice PKF O'Connor Davies has appointed Mark Goldschmitt as a partner within its commercial tax practice, based at its office in Hauppauge, New York.
Goldschmitt brings close to 30 years of public accounting experience.
His work focuses on tax planning, regulatory compliance and business advisory services for corporate entities, partnerships, privately held enterprises and high-net-worth individuals.
His sector experience spans architecture, legal services, digital media, staffing and recruitment.
The appointment forms part of the company's plans to develop its commercial tax service capabilities across the New York metropolitan region.
PKF O'Connor Davies tax service line leader Benjamin A. Beskovic said: "Mark's extensive tax expertise and proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships make him a valuable addition to our team.

Prior to joining the company, Goldschmitt was a partner at a regional accountancy practice, where he advised private businesses and individuals on financial management, commercial strategy and tax compliance.
Goldschmitt is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of New York and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
In July this year, PKF O'Connor Davies selected Anthony DelValle as a partner in its Real Estate Tax practice.
