AMD makes and sells semiconductors, including processors, accelerators, graphics chips, and more, as well as related software and services, much of which is aimed at handling the current intense AI demand. The company's second-quarter fiscal 2026 report showed record revenue of $11.5 billion (a 50% year-over-year gain), $6.7 billion in data center revenue (more than doubled), per-share earnings of $1.66 (a 82% rise), and called for up to $13.3 billion in third-quarter revenue.
