With a market cap of $20.4 billion, Zebra Technologies Corporation (ZBRA) is a global technology company focused on digitizing, automating, and optimizing frontline operations. The Lincolnshire, Illinois-based company's portfolio includes barcode scanners and printers, RFID readers, rugged mobile computers and tablets, machine vision systems, software, and automation solutions that help businesses connect people, assets, and data.

Companies valued between $10 billion and $200 billion are generally classified as "large-cap" stocks, and Zebra Technologies fits right into that category. The company benefits from a global customer base, robust R&D capabilities, and a solid reputation for reliability and performance, which together drive consistent demand and long-term customer relationships.

Shares of ZBRA are trading 9.2% below their 52-week high of $386.23, which they hit on Aug. 12. The stock has gained 48.7% over the past three months, outperforming the broader Dow Jones Industrial Average's ($DOWI) marginal rise during the same time frame.

Moreover, in 2026, ZBRA has soared 44.5% compared to $DOWI's 8.3% rise. However, ZBRA's 10.1% uptick over the past year lags the $DOWI's 12.4% rise.

Still, ZBRA has been trading above its 50-day and 200-day moving averages since late June, indicating an uptrend.

ZBRA shares rose 1.9% on Sept. 17 after Zebra Technologies launched the KC401 self-service kiosk, designed to streamline routine inquiries, reduce customer wait times, and free up frontline staff for higher-value interactions. The 10-inch kiosk targets industries including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, and healthcare, offering features such as price and inventory checks and "endless aisle" shopping. The launch expands Zebra's self-service portfolio and strengthens its push to help businesses improve customer experiences while making frontline operations more efficient.

ZBRA has substantially underperformed its top rival, Lam Research Corporation (LRCX), which has jumped 138.2% over the past year and 76.6% in 2026.

The stock has a consensus rating of "Moderate Buy" from 15 analysts in coverage. Based on analysts' estimates, ZBRA's mean price target of $417.50 implies a potential 19% upside from its current market price.
