Paysafe has launched PaysafeWallet in Poland, extending the reach of its digital wallet service in Europe.

In a statement, the payments platform said the launch will allow consumers to pay, send and spend in Polish złoty. The service includes a virtual debit card that can be used on a phone.

Paysafe said the rollout builds on "strong adoption" of PaysafeCard in Poland.

Bob Legters, Paysafe's chief product officer, said: "Young consumers in Poland are digital natives and expect their money to move as fast as they do.

"PaysafeWallet gives them something that feels made for them: their own debit card on their phone, the freedom to pay, send and spend however they want, and the reassurance that cash is still an option when they need it. We're really excited about what we're building for this generation."

Paysafe introduced PaysafeWallet in April this year. At that time, the digital wallet went live in 18 European markets, including Germany, France, Greece, Spain, Italy, Austria and the Netherlands among others.

According to Paysafe, PaysafeWallet combines multiple payment functions in one app. Users can top up with cash, send money to other people, and pay in stores, restaurants and online.

Customers can also send and receive bank transfers, withdraw cash, and access a personal payment account with an IBAN.

Existing PaysafeCard account holders can access the service through the Wallet tab.

Paysafe serves multiple sectors including iGaming, video gaming, e-commerce, online trading, retail, travel and hospitality. The company reported approximately 2,800 employees across 12 countries and annualised transactional volume of $167bn in 2025.

This year, Paysafe also enabled card payment processing through Primer's unified payments infrastructure. The integration connects Paysafe to Primer via the no-code Primer for Partners programme.

"Paysafe debuts PaysafeWallet in Poland" was originally created and published by Electronic Payments International, a GlobalData owned brand.
