New York-based Nasdaq, Inc. (NDAQ) operates as a technology company that serves capital markets and other industries in the United States and internationally. The company has a market cap of $52.9 billion and operates through three segments: Capital Access Platforms, Financial Technology, and Market Services, and distributes historical and real-time market data, develops and licenses Nasdaq-branded indices and financial products, and more.

NDAQ stock has lagged behind the broader market over the past year, declining 1.9% compared to the S&P 500 Index's ($SPX) 22.4% surge. Moreover, in 2026, the stock has fallen by nearly 2.6%, underperforming the SPX's 13.3% rise.

On July 24, NDAQ stock rose 1.9% following the release of its Q2 2026 earnings. The company's revenue for the quarter rose 14.9% from the previous year's quarter to $1.5 billion and surpassed the Street's estimates. Moreover, its adjusted EPS came in at $1.07, also topping Wall Street's forecasts. The company benefited from robust demand for its market infrastructure and technology solutions, as well as adoption of AI-enabled tools.

For the current year, which ends in December, analysts expect NDAQ's EPS to rise 19.3% to $4.15 on a diluted basis. The company surpassed the consensus estimate in each of the last four quarters.

Among 19 Wall Street analysts covering NDAQ stock, the consensus is a "Strong Buy." That's based on 14 "Strong Buy" ratings, three "Moderate Buys," and two "Holds."

The configuration has grown more bullish over the past months, with the stock now having 14 "Strong Buy" ratings, up from 13 three months prior.

On July 29, J.P. Morgan analyst Michael Cho maintained a "Buy" rating for NDAQ and raised its price target from $112 to $114.

NDAQ's mean price target of $111.28 offers a 17.6% upside compared to the current market price. Its Street-high target of $135 implies a robust 42.7% upside from current levels.
