Finnish distiller Anora is to distribute for syrups producer Sweet 'n' Syrup Finland in the Nordic and Baltic markets.

Under the deal, Anora will handle Sweet 'n' Syrup's Modo syrup brand in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and the Baltic countries from next year.

In a statement, the Koskenkorva vodka maker said the tie-up "strengthens" its "position as a comprehensive beverage company".

It also said the move "strategically expands its product range into the important category of non-alcoholic products".

Kirsi Puntila, the CEO of Anora, said: "Modo syrups are an excellent addition to Anora's portfolio, broadening our selection of non-alcoholic products and meeting the growing demand for high-quality, natural offerings. This partnership aligns with our strategy to provide our customers and consumers with the most diverse beverage selection on the market."

Founded in 2001, Sweet 'n' Syrup Finland produces flavoured syrups, fruit purées, mixers and shots which can be used for cocktails, coffee, as well as baking and cooking.

In the statement, Sweet 'n' Syrup is described as "the market leader" in the syrups category in Finland, and is "renowned for their wide variety of flavours and popularity among professionals in cafés, restaurants, and bars".

Niclas Levälampi, chairman of the Board and owner of Sweet 'n' Syrup Finland said Anora had "a strong and extensive distribution network and deep market expertise in the Nordics and Baltics".

He added: "Working with Anora opens new growth opportunities for us and ensures that more professionals and consumers can discover our high-quality Modo products."

Last week, Anora reported its financial accounts for the first half of 2026. Net sales fell 3.4% to €296.3m.

EBITDA declined 15.3% to €19m. Anora said its "comparable EBITDA" increased 12.8% to €24.8m.

"Anora strikes distribution deal with local syrups maker for Nordics, Baltics" was originally created and published by Just Drinks, a GlobalData owned brand.
