Dune Oil Corp (CSE:DUNE, OTCQB:TRLEF, FRA:Z620) announced that it has appointed Neil Maedel to its board of directors and Jordan Coleman as chief operating officer, while naming President Scott Lower as chief executive officer.
Maedel joins the board with more than 45 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking and the international resource sector. His career includes roles with RBC Dominion Securities and Haywood Securities, as well as founding Zurich-based ProTrader Finanz AG, which assisted with financing and analysis for small-cap oil and gas and mining companies.
Coleman brings more than 18 years of international energy industry experience, including field operations, production and engineering roles in the United States, Chad, Argentina and Paraguay. Most recently, he served as COO of CG International, where he was involved in activating four producing wells in Chad with aggregate production potential exceeding 5,000 barrels of oil per day.
Lower, a Chartered Professional Accountant with 15 years of oil and gas experience, has been appointed CEO after serving as the company's president. The company noted that he has been the day-to-day driver of its M47 strategy and financing and has helped raise capital for Dune.
Sean Stofer, who served as interim CEO during the company's transition, will step down from the role and continue as chairman and a director. Stofer has more than 20 years of energy-sector leadership experience and has founded and directed several energy development, engineering-procurement-construction and datacenter energy supply companies.
Additionally, Dune's 2026 annual general meeting is scheduled for November 16. Shareholders will vote on setting the board at six directors, electing directors for the coming year, appointing auditors and considering the company's Long-Term Equity Incentive Plan.
The company expects to file its notice of meeting on September 4, with October 2 set as the record date and October 16 as the anticipated mailing date for notice-and-access materials.
